ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has instructed the Billiard and Snooker Federation to furnish all the details of the Rs 820,000 they have received in shape of annual and special grants recently.
An official of the PSB confirmed on Thursday that an amount of Rs 400,000 has recently been allocated to the federation on account of their participation in the even held in India. “We have released Rs 320,000 to the federation as a special grant for their participation in the Indian event. The remaining 80,000 would be released when the federation would furnish the details of expenditures.
“We have asked the federation to furnish details of the tour at the earliest,” he said. “We have given them Rs 400,000 as special grant for participation in the Junior event held a few months back in Iran while another Rs 400,000 for the just concluded Indian event.”
Apart from that the special annual grant of Rs 600,000 has also been approved for the federation. “Rs 200,000 from the annual grant have also been given to the federation while rest would be given in due course. In all, the billiard and snooker federation has so far got Rs 820,000 from the federation during the last four months.
